Hometown: Steeler Nation

Drumming History: Drumming for more than a 2 decades. From middle and high school to independent groups like White Sabers, Hawthorne Caballeros, Penn State Indoor Drumline, Matrix Open. Worked as a bass tech for multiple high schools, indoor groups and drum corps in central PA, New Jersey, and New York. Played professionally with the Jacksonville Jaguars drumline as well.

Scott "The King of Ohio" Day

Bass 3

Hometown: Richmond, OH

Drumming History: I've been playing drums since 1978 (yeah, I'm old). Played bass, quads, and snare at Wintersville HS. Played quads for Bluecoats from 1986-88, 2014/15 with Rhythm IN BLUE (Bluecoats alumni), and the 2022 Bluecoats 50th anniversary alumni corps. I also played bass steel pans in a local steel drum band for a few years around 2014.

Occupation: Engineer at Westinghouse Electric Company

Interests: I'm a pretty simple person. Just kinda hang out with my wife and daughter. I enjoy doing home improvement projects if given the opportunity.

Favorite Steeline Memory: Oh geez, there are so many. We do some really cool and interesting side gigs, too many to mention. But probably my favorite memory is: I gave one of my sticks to a random little girl at a game a couple years ago. At one of the preseason games the following year she and her dad sought me out, told me how much she loves the stick, and took a picture with me. He told me that she has the stick displayed on a shelf with her girly toys. Then later in the season they came to another game and brought the stick that I was able to sign for her. That's the best part of what we do. I also have to add that getting to travel to Ireland last year to perform with the Steeline was a once in a lifetime experience.
