Drumming History:  My drumming career started at North Allegheny High School, where I did marching band and indoor percussion for 3 years. I then moved on to the Penn State Blue Band drumline, where I marched 5 seasons and was section leader for two. I also marched two years of White Sabers (then-DCA) in 2018 and 19.

Interests: I am a big fan of anything outdoors, lately that has been disc golf, pickle ball, and paddle boarding. When the weather does not cooperate, I enjoy hanging out at home with my two cats!

Favorite Steeline Memory: The first game of my rookie season, I forgot my jersey and had to wear the 3XL spare. It was comically large on me and I’ve never forgotten my jersey since!

Favorite Steeline Memory: Playing on the field at the Penguins Stadium Series game in 2016? I think?

Drumming History:  12 years of drumming experience at Mars High, Edinboro University, and the Pittsburgh Steeline!

Occupation: Filmmaker, photographer, student, drumline technician, line cook

Interests: I love making movies and other A/V content, as well as playing D&D, writing, Taekwondo, HEMA, making coffee, and spending time with my family!

Favorite Steeline Memory: Every parade in Wampum PA!!!

Drumming History:  I have 25 years of drumming experience and aside from joining every band and ensemble I could in high school, I’ve also performed as a member of several hard rock cover bands and brass bands over the years. I’m currently the Assistant Marching Band/Percussion Ensemble Director at Laurel High School and perform regularly in local pit orchestras.

Interests: I enjoy spending time at home with my family, playing guitar, writing music, taking on DIY projects, and constantly learning something new.

What are you looking forward to most about being in Steeline?: Performing with a group of people sharing a passion for marching percussion and becoming a better musician in the process!

Hometown: Wheeling, WV

Drumming History:  I’ve been drumming for 11 years, and have played in drumlines for 10 of those years while attending school. I was lucky to be able to take drumset lessons early on in my development, leading to my love of playing live music. I’ve played drums in Pittsburgh death metal band Reduced to Dust and hardcore band Cemented in Fear, playing across the East Coast, and on the West Coast. The energy of good heavy music and playing in drumlines share a common intensity that I appreciate and enjoy.

Occupation: Drumline instructor at St. Clairsville High School (St. Clairsville, OH), marching percussion composer/arranger

Interests: I like to take walks, hike, and play my guitar when I have a chance.

What are you looking forward to most about being in Steeline?: Being able to watch myself grow as a musician along with an incredibly talented group of people. Especially looking forward to my first game opportunity.
